Self Reflection
1. I want to go more in depth with the analysis of the text and write more than one "matters" statement.
2. I want to have a good "so what" in the conclusion to tie everything in my essay together.
3. I want to have a more complex thesis that has multiple layers to it.
Even in just this quarter, my writing has improved greatly. Despite many obstacles I had to overcome like tackling a cross- curricular essay and utilizing both historical and literary sources in the analysis, I did a great job with meeting my writing goals for this essay. I was able to write more "matters" sentences with deeper critical thinking. Writing a complex thesis was another goal I ended up reaching through writing this essay. I was able to have a strong "so what" at the conclusion of the essay due to some deep critical thinking about the complex thesis.
